The Patrón Aficionados program is designed to engage the city's leading bartenders, mixologists and hosts in the hand-made, small-batch process that sets Patrón apart from the tequila competition. Additionally, participants will appreciate the many ways in which tequila shares meaningful attributes with wine, champagne, vodka and scotch, given shared aspects of production, appellation and lifestyle opportunity.
Patrón Aficionados will have the opportunity to interact with members of the Patrón team learning about the particularities of the spirit's two distillates, new products and myriad cocktail opportunities.
The Patrón Aficionados program demonstrates how Patrón, despite being mass distributed, is not mass produced. And, as the leader in the category of ultra-premium tequilas, Patrón is the only tequila brand able to educate the spirits trade as to the particularities of tequila to improve the drinking occasion for consumers.
San Francisco is the second of five stops across the country for the Patrón Aficionados Program, following its first in Austin.
