This beautifully designed two-seater sports car marks Jaguar’s return to the segment for the first time in 50 years, following in the footsteps of the classic E-TYPE of 1961.
The evening began with a stirring performance by star of the US music scene, Lana Del Rey, who brought her own touch of class to the event with a specially-written track, Burning Desire.
In a brilliantly choreographed automotive ballet, two Jaguar F-TYPEs then appeared on stage against the stunning backdrop of the museum building and a dramatic soundscape inspired by the distinctive V6 and V8 engine notes of the car.
400 VIP and celebrity guests, including David Gandy, Sarah Ann Macklin and George Lamb, joined in the celebration of this defining moment for Jaguar - a spectacular and long-awaited return to its sporting roots.
