Freescale, the global leader in embedded processing solutions, advancing the automotive, consumer, industrial and networking markets, successfully raised over $780m in May, 2011, during their high profile initial public offering.
Imagination planned, organised and executed all aspects of the roadshow. The team undertook 11 days of meetings, visited 13 different cities in Europe and North America, presented to 9 group meetings and visited 60 investors' offices.
We provided the following services:
Branding and design:
With a limited timeframe before launch, Imagination and the Freescale’s marketing and communications team worked to create set design with roadshow branding that was consistent with the “making the world a smarter place” campaign that the company used for their IPO. We designed a clean environment that represented Freescale’s strong presence around the world and incorporated elements from the roadshow presentation and the end product was extremely well received by investors during the roadshow.
With a large group lunch in New York and a number of smaller group meetings in Frankfurt, Milan, London, Boston and San Francisco, Imagination worked closely with our preferred venues, catering and audio visual suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of all elements of the group meetings over the 11-day roadshow. Our strong relationships enabled us to ensure that the branding requirements were produced and to make sure they were on location for each of these events.
Project / Logistics / Travel and Roadshow desk:
With up to four company executives travelling at any one time, Imagination co-ordinated the complex daily meeting schedule, booked accommodation, venues, catering, ground transportation and secured the use of a private aircraft charter, in addition to liaising with the company’s in-house jet operations department. An on-road and office-based Imagination team worked around the clock to support the constantly evolving schedule. Bankers said that this was one of the best run deals they have been involved with in 20 years of business.
