We like to think it is our attitude. We are media neutral, we have a global reach and we have a mix of people unique to our industry. For those reasons, we believe anything is possible. That belief has inspired us to grow, by responding to the different challenges presented by clients and finding new ways of creating compelling communication to build brands.

How large are the projects you undertake, on average?

There is no average project. We do everything from a piece of strategic thinking to an item of print, a website to an exhibition, a film to a media launch, a staff conference to a global event programme.

How do you choose suppliers?

We have strict criteria to ensure that those we employ meet our quality standards. We support all our projects according to specific needs, so we are happy to work with any suppliers nominated by clients as well as those we know already.

Do you have any quality certification?

Yes. We are registered to ISO 9001. We are also the only marketing supplier in Europe to secure Q1 status from Ford Motor Company. Q1 certification is recognised throughout the automotive and related industries. It is regarded as a symbol of excellence, customer satisfaction and consistent and continuing high quality.

Is Imagination a member of any industry bodies?

We belong to numerous bodies, including the American Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai, China; the American Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong; the British Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong; D&AD; the Design Business Association (DBA); the IHK Industrie-und Handelskammer zu Köln (Chamber of Commerce, Cologne); the International Special Event Society (ISES); the International Visual Communications Association (IVCA); the Investor Relations Society; the London Chamber of Commerce; the Production Services Association; Sveriges Reklamförbund (Swedish Advertising Association); Sponsrings och Eventföreningen (The Sponsorship and Event Association, Sweden).

Do you subscribe to environmental principles?

Yes. We believe in sustainability and we are certified to ISO14001. We look to minimise environmental impact in terms of the projects we deliver for clients and our own operations. Read more here.

Do you have a Health and Safety policy?

Yes. Imagination’s policy is to give the greatest importance to the safety and welfare of its employees; to regard the requirements of Government legislation in respect of health and safety as the minimum standard acceptable and to provide health and safety facilities which

exceed this standard whenever possible; to assess risks to safety and health of employees, clients, and all others who may be affected by the activities of this Company’s undertaking, 

and to implement appropriate measures to reduce hazards whenever possible; to provide safe working conditions by means of careful supervision and training, as appropriate; to instruct every new employee in the general safety procedures and practices of the Company; to ensure that high standards of fire prevention are maintained; to ensure that employees and others who may work on or visit our premises are aware of the procedures in the event of fire or other emergency; to standardise procedures for reporting accidents; to ensure the continued suitability of our arrangements for health and safety.

Do you work with charities or educational institutions?

Yes. We undertake projects for charities on an ad hoc basis. Every Christmas we make a donation to charity rather than mail a company Christmas card. In London, we welcome school parties and student groups, who can tour our headquarters and learn about our industry and what we do. We provide two different tours – one is based on the architecture of our building, the other provides an insight into our company and work.
