Galp Energia, the number one Portuguese refining company, launched its IPO roadshow with a large presentation for 80 potential investors in Lisbon. We supported the entire two week roadshow, travelling throughout Europe and then spending two days in New York and Boston. A crucial role was liaison between the four Joint Global Coordinators to ensure a smooth transition between each city. The IPO finished successfully, being significantly oversubscribed. It raised a healthy €1.1billion.
