The IPO for MasterCard International, a leader in the global payments processing industry, was a momentous occasion for the company after almost 40 years of private ownership. It is one of the world's best known brands through its global reach and ubiquitous ‘Priceless' campaign. The deal was also closely followed by competitors contemplating the benefits of a similar conversion to a public company.
After a successful pricing, the stock price more than doubled in the six months following its debut on the NYSE, reflecting the market's confidence in the Company and the growth of the global payments industry.
Design and Presentation
MasterCard were simultaneously undergoing a complete re-branding to be launched after the IPO. We designed a presentation environment for all group meetings which reflected the well established identity, while giving investors a hint of the new brand graphic language.
A film reel showing 'Priceless' commercials from around the world was also shown as a walk-in piece prior to all presentations. The commercials shown were chosen according to the country where the presentation was being held, and were particularly well-received in Europe.
Production
Produced 18 group meetings in the US and Europe. A series of graphic slabs for all group meetings ensured that each presentation venue was a manifestation of the MasterCard brand.
We also worked to ensure consistency, clarity and adherence to brand identity throughout the investor presentation.
