Early in 2008 Imagination was approached by Millennium BCP’s Investment Banking Division to provide support for a Portuguese Equities Forum in London. The event attracted 14 of the largest companies listed on the PSI-20 (Portugal Stock Index Top 20), representing 93% by market weighting, as well as a number of Portuguese SmallCaps.
Building on our experience gained from undertaking IPO roadshows for Martifer, Galp Energia and REN and capital raisings for Banco Esiprito Santos, we were able to deliver target list of fund managers and institutions holding an interest in Portuguese equities. Around 60 investors from British and Benelux-based institutions attended the event. Imagination also provided full production and logistical support, managing a schedule of 110 one-to-one and group meetings over two days.
